What is the return policy?
We offer a 30-day return or exchange on all orders purchased through www.oceanbreezeairpurifier.com. If 30 days have expired since the date of delivery, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. (Exchanges are limited only with damaged or defective products).
What if I have received defected or wrong item?
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
**Replacement accessories such as filters are not entitled to a return or exchange if the plastic wrap has been opened. **
Item was damaged in shipping
If your order is damaged in shipping, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of shipment so that we will file a claim with the shipper and have the damaged product replaced. Please keep the damaged merchandise for at least 2 weeks after the claim is filed with the shipper. The shipper may pick up the damaged box and product.
How does the exchange or return process work?
To complete your exchange or return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact our customer service department via email at support@oceanbreezeairpurifier.com prior to exchange or returning your merchandise.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@oceanbreezeairpurifier.com and send your item to: 901 Castle Rd, Secaucus, NJ 07094, United States.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Please allow 4-8 weeks for return processing.
Return procedure and terms
If and when provided a RA (Return Authorization) number, please place the number in big bold letters on the box so that we can ensure proper tracking of your return. Please contact our customer service department via email at support@oceanbreezeairpurifier.com to receive a RA number prior to returning your merchandise.
When returning an item, the following terms apply:
- Return the merchandise to us within 30 days of your original receipt of the order.
- The product must be returned in new and unused condition.
- You must include all packaging materials.
- Packing material must not be torn or damaged.
- Must be returned in the original packing box.
- All items shipped back will be at the customer’s expense.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
For replacement items, the time it may take for the item to reach you, may vary, depending on where you live.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Air Purifier Unit
Where should I place my air purifier?
We recommend placing it in a room that you use often, or has the most odor, dust, pollen, or pets. Select a firm, level and flat surface, in an area that is not blocked by furniture or other obstructions that prevent air from circulating through.
Can I leave my air purifier on at all times?
Yes, we recommend running your air purifier 24/7, depending on the season, or your needs. By leaving your unit running it will continuously be drawing in the room air and filtering impurities.
What certifications do Ocean Breeze Air Purifiers have?
AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers) VERIFIED
Verified by the official AHAM CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) program, allowing customers to compare smoke, dust, and pollen ratings for different air purifiers on the market.
ENERGY STAR CERTIFIED
A program that provides certification to consumer products that meet certain standards of energy efficiency.
ETL Certified
An ETL certification means that products have been tested to set safety standards. Ensure that the products meet quality, health, environmental, safety, and social accountability standards.
Why is my fan running loud?
If you are using your air purifier for the first time, please make sure to remove the protective plastic wrap from the filters.
If you’ve previously used your air purifier, it may be a time to replace the filters as high amounts of contaminants can block the pores in the filter and stop the air from moving through it. Please make sure to check each filter in your air purifier and replace them according to the recommended time frames specified in the product instruction manual or when the filter change indicator lights up.
Lastly, check to make sure nothing else is blocking the grilles either in or out of the device. Nothing should block the inlet or outlet grille.
FILTER REPLACEMENT
How often do I need to replace my filter?
The blue light on the UV button flashes continuously to remind you that it is time to replace your filter. As a general rule:
- Activated Carbon Filter should be replaced every 3 months.
- True HEPA filters should be changed every 12 months.
Note: Our recommended replacement timing is a guide only and can be longer or shorter depending upon your environment. Filter life depends on many factors.

Does my Air purifier come with a filter?
Yes, all of our air purifiers come with initial filters (Activated carbon and True HEPA filter) already in the unit.
What is an Activated Carbon Filter?
Activated carbon filter helps to trap and reduce pollutants like toxins, chemicals, VOCs, as well as odors from pets, smoking, and cooking. It also helps to extend HEPA filter life.
What is a True HEPA filter?
True HEPA Filters are rated at 99.97% efficient (0.3 microns and larger) at capturing airborne particles (Smoke, Dust, and Pollen) that pass through the filter. Overall room air quality varies based on a number of factors. HEPA stands for “High Efficiency Particulate Air”.
